Staying at the Putnam Lodge was like a magical step back in time. The decor was adorable, Staff was friendly, Rooms were sparkling clean & smelled so fresh! Bedding was comfy, live music, romantic dining room. . . . Going to make this a stopping point on my next trip :)
Great place. We came here to get away. Great family or romantic location. Near Suwanne river and horseshoe beach. Owners are very personable and they have a full.bar and 5 star dining at thier in house restaurant. Don't pass this place up. Al Capone had a room here. Lots of history
I traveled through north Florida for my birthday. Found a gem of an historic inn. The dinner was delicious and the dining room had a delightful glow with live musical entertainment. Ed, the owner, shared some fun facts on a tour after dinner. If you enjoy an inn experience, you will surely like the Putnam Lodge.

This place is amazing. The history of the lodge is very interesting. The place is extremely clean and cozy, the restaurant / lounge has great food. The bartender has a great personality as well as the owners. I highly recommend staying here for a few nights, I know we will be returning.
